Les méthodes de prévision sont devenues de nos jours des outils indispensables aux gestionnaires des entreprises ainsi qu'à toutes les personnes s'impliquant dans des processus décisionnels relatifs aux choix économiques. "Les méthodes de prévision en économie" répond avec bonheur aux souhaits des uns et des autres d'avoir à leur disposition un manuel traitant des techniques qui, naguère encore, étaient l'apanage des seuls spécialistes. Tout en insistant sur l'apport des démonstrations mathématiques, l'auteur cherche avant tout à mettre en relief l'aspect pratique de l'utilisation des méthodes classiques. De nombreux exemples et exercices facilitent à tout moment le cheminement du lecteur. La démarche suivie repose en outre sur l'utilisation des outils statistiques les plus actuels. Cette initiation aux méthodes de prévision est, par ailleurs, le fruit d'un enseignement dans une école de gestion où sont formés de futurs cadres et dirigeants.
